Cabezas en Paradise (Costa Rica)

So great to have our 2 grandsons visit us (and of course,
 Mike, Ashley and Mom too)

La Paz Waterfall Gardens

Arrival 9/3 an hour late: Grandma Diane and Stockton were so
excited! We were afraid that Sawyer had forgotten us...
but he didn't!

Sawyer really connected with Toucans and Parrots

Stockton not so much.

Same with the butterflies,

and monkeys,

and poisonous dart frogs,

and pumas,

the mists on the falls were breathtaking.

Sky Adventures Arenal- Zip line was a blast but later in day, we went on
their "River Drift" and had the most fun I've had in years.

At Pizza Hut in Quesada (Also called San Carlos)

At Volcon Irazu totally socked, in the Fog

Met Graciela in Paraiso and her amazing walking dog.

Also met Cristina, Jimena and Mom Isabella.
Cristina was baptized just a few months ago.

Given so many hours in the van...Sawyer was really pretty good for
an 18 month old, except the times he was screaming
at the top of his lungs : {

Chillin out, @ home in the apartment.
We even played a game of Rummy.

Stockton decided he was the photographer of choice

At Manuel Antonio Beach

Crocodile Bridge on road to Jaco.
What Stockton took out of this visit is that crocodiles eat people,
and they actually have here recently.

The view out of the condo at Playa Flamingo

Playa Avellano

Pipa Fria was a hit with Sawyer

A Puffer fish while deep sea fishing.  We saw whales, dolphins,
tortugas and had two sailfish on the hook but they both
broke the line.

At Cataratas Cortez in Guanacaste

Volcon Irazu when the clouds finally cleared.

At the pool in Torre Paseo Colon

and the play toy

Entertaining Sawyer in Quepos

Stockton riding the waves at Playa Conchel

The Heads snorkeling at Conchel

Deep sea fishing off  Playa Coco (Beach)

Another poison dart frog at La Paz

Cabezas zip lining at Arenal

At  Volcan Irazu

Ash finally found her "Churchill" in Puntarenas

Ash and Elder Petersen at Manuel Antonio

Restaurant El Avion near Quepos

Oxcart ride at La Paz

 Ahhh, what a nice life...

Under the Catarata

Chillin with my grandpa

Sawyer wanted to zipline at Arenal.
Post-note from Abuela Diane..actually he was
screaming for his Mom & didn't stop till
she was out of site.

Forgot water camera on the river drift-Arenal but all three thought
this was the grandest adventure in many many years. 3 ziplines, 150
foot drop into river and three miles of whitewater fun on large intertubes
spinning and cascading in the warm rain down an incredibly pretty jungle canyon!

That Sunday, Elder Pete taught the Sunday School class at the Puntarenas Branch.

We think everyone had fun...It sure made us happy to show
part of our family incredible Costa Rica.

Stockton found lots of great coral.

This wave got the better of young Stockton

Buried in sea shells, which the sand at this
beach is made of.

AHHHHHHH

Unsure if he wanted to hold puffer fish

Sea caves at Playa Huevos

Captain Stuart's new friend

The view from above the sea caves

The view from behind the falls at Cortez

Hna Petersen-cooling off in Guanacaste

The grandsons -  we are so glad they came to brighten up our lives

So many fotos here, but so many not included.
As you'all can tell, we had a fantastic time.

MUCHAS GRACIAS, MOM, MIKE, ASHLEY, STOCKTON & SAWYER
FOR COMING TO VISIT US!!!
