Yeah, finally a post from Hermana Petersen herself : )

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED HAVING OUR 2 NIETOS
(GRAND-SONS) COME TO VISIT US IN COSTA RICA !!!

Sawyer made friends wherever we went..

 *To our Rotarian friends*
Ciudad Puntarenas

Another view of Crocodile Bridge.
They're absolutely RIGHT there!

Stockton, Sawyer & Miguel Cabeza
after a long day before.
We call Mike that because his nombre is
Michael Head.
The moral of this story  is.... make sure you remove
your phone from your leg pocket,
before you jump in a lake cuz you're hot!
My phone lived, by the way : )

Every time we see a monkey, we think of our
grand-daughter Kally, back home. Her
nickname, or at least one of the them, is monkey
because she's always climbing on something.

Now, I don't like spiders, but couldn't
resist taking a foto (that's how it's
spelled in Espanol) of this
awesome web.

Stockton learned an important word in Spanish while he was here....
TORTUGA.Go ahead, ask him how to say turtle in Espanol.

My hat's off to those of the Catholic faith!
They have many beautiful cathedrals
here & most have an adjoining park.

The Head familia hanging out in
the hot tub, in our apartment
complex...well it's not Elder Pete's
version of hot, but I like it fine.

Call me weird, but I like lizards : )
Mike caught this particular one.

           Yep, it got away,
                         twice..a sailfish!

My favorite variety of
poisonous frog.

The day we went to LaPaz Waterfall
Gardens, it was misty. That gave the
falls an entirely different look.

We spent a whole lot of time in our rented van.
We'all preferred Sawyer sleeping than
screaming, but then he's 18 months
old. He actually was a trouper.

See the red starfish Grandma.

This was a blast. That's us, in
the rental van : )

Nuff said!
Ahhhhhhh......

Stockton took this foto.
Said he had one just
like it. Was going to go
on a mission too.
Near Manuel Antonio Park.
Near, not in, being the
key word. Hopefully, this
week with Ryan, we'll
make it inside.

First, let me explain that Bimbo is a
brand of bread here, like Wonder Bread
is back home. These soccer shirts were
cute & pink & I wanted to get them
for our grand-daughters. However,
back in the States, can you imagine them
wearing these. Is a good example of how
1 word can mean 2 totally different things.

I like heart-shaped rocks!
Honest, this is the way I found these.
Teaching Stockton the proper way to
make a bread ball. Here's eatin one
for you, Uncle Ryan!

Office Elders Lewis & Pratt.
Was a busy day in the Mission Office.
Guess they needed some alone time : )

Angel Boy...

NOT!
And finally, HAPPY 13TH
BIRTHDAY TOMORROW,
ELIZABETH ANNE PETERSEN
"LIBBY"
WE LOVE YOU!!!
LOVE, GRANDMA & GRANDPA : )

P.S. See you & your family here next Spring!
